Gear Built for the Deep. Service Built for the Diver.

We don't just sell equipment — we sell the confidence that your life-support system performs flawlessly, dive after dive. As authorized dealers and factory-certified technicians for Atomic Aquatics, Oceanic, Zeagle, and Hollis, every piece of gear we recommend is something we've serviced, tested, and would put on our own backs.

What Gear Do You Actually Need First?

Just finished Open Water and overwhelmed by the gear wall? You don't need to buy everything at once. Here's the order divers usually buy in, and why:

1. Mask, fins, and snorkel — buy this first, always. These are the only items where fit is 100% personal. A mask that leaks or fins that don't match your kick style will ruin more dives than any other gear decision. Rental masks rarely seal well on every face.

2. A dive computer — buy this second. You're trusting this device with your decompression status on every single dive. Owning one means you always know its history, its battery, and how it behaves — instead of guessing with a different rental unit every trip.

3. Regulator and BCD — buy once you're diving regularly. These are the biggest investment, but also the biggest comfort and reliability upgrade. If you're booking more than 2–3 trips a year, owning your own life-support gear (sized, serviced, and broken-in to you) pays for itself fast — and you're never stuck with shop rental gear that's been through a hundred other divers.

4. Exposure protection (wetsuit/drysuit) — buy based on where you dive. Quarry diver in Pennsylvania or Virginia? You'll want this sooner than someone who only dives the Caribbean once a year.

Not sure what's right for your budget, your local diving, or your travel plans? That's exactly what a fitting appointment is for — no pressure, no upsell, just the right gear for how you dive.

GEAR CARE: KEEP IT FOR LONGER

A few minutes of care after every dive adds years to your gear's life — and catches small problems before they become a failed dive.

The basics, every time:

  • Rinse everything in fresh water — salt, sediment, and minerals are what age gear fastest
  • Dry in shade, never direct sun, and never store it wet (hello mold)
  • Cap your regulator's first stage before rinsing — water in the dust cap means a service trip
  • Partially inflate your BCD before storage so the bladder doesn't stick to itself
