A Closer Look: Shearwater Peregrine & Tern
The Peregrine has become one of the most popular entry points into the Shearwater lineup, and it's easy to see why. Want air integration? Both computers are available in a TX version. Pair a Peregrine TX or Tern TX with Shearwater's Swift transmitter and you get real-time tank pressure on your wrist, accurate gas-time-remaining calculations, and a three-axis digital compass — no hoses required. The Tern TX goes a step further, supporting up to four Swift transmitters at once, so it's ready for stage bottles or a buddy team sharing readouts off one wrist.

The D5 is Suunto's dedicated dive computer — built to do one job exceptionally well. It runs Suunto's Fused RGBM 2 decompression algorithm, offers Air, Nitrox, Freedive, and Gauge modes, and comes bundled with the Tank POD Multi Transmitter for wireless air integration right out of the box. Add in a 3D digital compass, a 200-hour dive log, and a rechargeable battery good for 6–12 hours of dive time, and you've got a purpose-built dive tool that syncs wirelessly to the Suunto app after every dive.
