Try Scuba Diving and take your first breath underwater!

Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover scuba will let you try scuba diving to see if you like it. The eLearning session is about 45 minutes and the pool session is about 90 minutes and a our dive professional will be with you the entire time, helping you, making sure you’re comfortable, and answering any questions you have about diving. While this is not an actual scuba certification,  you will learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

If you are excited about scuba diving but initially nervous, then Discover Scuba is for you!

What will you learn?

You will learn the basics that you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. You will get to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and learn if this is something for you or not. You will learn what wearing a scuba gear feels like and try swimming weightless in the water wearing it.

We will go through some basic scuba skills and safety rules that will transfer to your scuba certification course should you choose to continue.

Scuba Gear

All the necessary equipment that you will need is included in the Disocver Scuba Diving session along with pool access. You will use all the basic scuba gear including a mask and snorkel, fins, a buoyancy compensating jacket (BCD) that carries your weights and scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from, and instruments to monitor depth and air supply.

All you need to bring are swim suits and a towel, if you have a wetsuit that you would like to use, then feel free to bring them. Usually the pools are warm enough for the time we spend in the pool to not require this.

To participate in the Discover Scuba Diving program you must be at least 10 years old and you have to fill in the medical form that is in the eLearning that we will send to you.
