The Diving

Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica – Guanacaste

Welcome to Pura Vida! Touch down at the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR). You will be met by a tour representatives as you exit the airport and then make your way to the Pacific Coast. Check into your hotel, grab a tropical drink and relax before your next morning dive adventure. In the evening meet up with your dive center for a dive briefing to check in and confirm any last-minute questions about diving conditions.

Day 2 - 6 Guanacaste – Scuba Diving

Breakfast at Hotel. Scuba divers begin their diving on Day 2. Enjoy 2-Tank (Local) Dives where you will have a great variety and abundance of marine life. Return to the hotel for the afternoon by the pool or ask us to arrange an adventure tour.

Day 7 Guanacaste – Topside Adventure – Full Day Adventure Combo

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Your private guide will meet you at the hotel reception for a fantastic day exploring the natural attractions that Costa Rica is famous for. Get the best combination of Guanacaste adventure tours with the One Day Adventure Pass at Hacienda Guachipelín by the Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Fill your day with four thrilling adrenaline challenges: a Canopy zip line tour and rappelling through the Rio Blanco Canyon, Tubing on the Rio Negro River in class 2-3 rapids, horseback riding to nearby waterfalls, and then relaxing in natural volcanic hot springs.

Day 8 Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to Daniel Oduber International Airport for your departure flight.

The Hotel

Villas Sol All-Inclusive Hotel and Beach Resort is a value hotel with a million-dollar view – easily the best in all of the Gulf of Papagayo. Perched atop a hill, trams take customers around the property from hotel to beach and back – generally 5-10 minutes between cycles when three trams are running. Each of the 54 rooms faces the ocean and has a very large balcony. The restaurant and patio deck at the hotel pool have a stellar view of the Gulf providing spectacular sunsets. A cool-water jacuzzi and the main pool with swim-up bar and snack bar are situated just steps from the hotel between the hotel and villas. Daily activities are available to guests like pool volleyball, salsa lessons, Spanish lessons. Daily Yoga lessons offered. There is a mini-mart on the property where you can purchase sunscreen, ice cream bars, and some food products. Many restaurants, a sports bar, and a grocery store are all just a short walk from the hotel, and Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) is less than 30 minutes away.
