Packing for your underwater adventure? A 3mm shorty wetsuit is usually enough to keep you cozy, but for some, even a rashguard is enough. Don't forget a surface marker buoy for drift dives and a trusty dive light to uncover hidden treasures in shipwrecks and reefs. If you don't have those items, we have got them in stock!

Roatan enjoys fantastic diving conditions year-round, with water temperatures hovering around 80°F. However, the peak season for diving is from May - August when the seas are calmest, and visibility is at its best.
To dive in Roatan, you'll need a valid scuba diving certification from a recognized organization like PADI, SSI, or NAUI. The minimum certification level required will depend on the specific dive sites you want to explore. We are happy to complete your training or work with you to add on your training while here.
Roatan boasts an incredible array of marine life! You can encounter colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, graceful sea turtles, majestic eagle rays, and even the occasional encounter with a playful dolphin or nurse shark.
Several airlines offer flights to Roatan's Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport (Airport Code: RTB). Once you arrive, there should be a transfer waiting for you to take you to the hotel.
While you can bring your own gear if you prefer, Sea Grape offers rental equipment, including regulators, BCD's, and wetsuits. Tanks and weigths are always included. Let us know if you need to rent gear so that we can notify the operator and secure gear for you.
