The best time to dive in Barbados is between December and May when the water is calm and visibility is excellent.
To dive in Barbados, you'll need a valid scuba diving certification from a recognized organization like PADI, SSI, or NAUI. The minimum certification level required will depend on the specific dive sites you want to explore, but most if not all are suitable for OW divers.
Barbados boasts an incredible array of marine life! You can encounter colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, graceful sea turtles, majestic eagle rays, and even the occasional encounter with a playful dolphin or nurse shark.
Several airlines offer flights to Barbados Grantley Adams International Airport (Airport Code: BGI). There are direct flights from USA and several European countries such as UK, Netherlands and Germany. Once you arrive, you can arrange for a taxi or rental car to take you to the Hotel.
While you can bring your own gear if you prefer, the dive center offers rental equipment, including regulators, BCD's, and wetsuits. Tanks and weigths are always included. Let us know if you need to rent gear so that we can notify the operator and secure gear for you.
